My dad use to tell me that when a dog died, it went to the Happy Hunting Grounds.
Missy, our 15.5-year-old Beagle passed on Wednesday and I'm sure she went to the Happy Snooping and Eating Grounds, her two loves.
Just a quick note of thanks to all involved in bringing her to us almost three years ago and a special thanks to those at B.O.N.E.S. who authorized her surgery.
The surgery was expected to give her 6-12 months, but it end up giving us all 2-1/2 years.
They are all special, but what was awesome with Missy was how she changed in the first year from fear to accepting us as friends.
We will never forget this little Tootler or those who helped get her to us.
