Bobby (Adopted August 15 2009 - May 23 2012)

Bobby We came to know and love Bobby on a hot summer day at Friendly's in northeastern MA.

I remember him standing in the back of a car, eager and looking around the parking lot. We were excited too. Our journey with Bobby was about to begin.

Bobby was, to simply state it, the most unique dog we ever knew. From his cute little stumpy tail, to his method of 'swimming' (dragging his upper body) across the living room floor, to his passion for food, and loyalty I have never seen in a dog, Bobby was a special beagle.

One thing I will never forget about Bobby was the way he appreciated everything. Of course his favorite was the memory foam pet bed and comforter my husband put together for him. Bobby would snore and snort with contentment every time he slept there, even his last time on it, when he curled up on it like a puppy.

Sadly, our beloved Bobby passed away on May 23, 2012 after a long battle with complications from anesthesia and severe esophagitis.

You were so brave and strong through your battle my friend. Bobby, you will always be remembered as our Bobster, Bobert Redford, Buddy, and Buffa. I know you are at Rainbow Bridge now, with your brother Rocky and the rest of your family. The journey was worth the while my loyal friend. Loving you makes life worth living!

RIP sweet beagle boy.
