Connor

Connor We wanted to share an update on Connor, the beagle my husband Matt and I adopted from B.O.N.E.S. four years ago this July.

He came to us as a shy, nervous, and often fearful dog. He has since blossomed into a cuddly, chill, silly, and quirky part of our family. The first few months were a rough transition for him getting used to being an only dog in a new home with new people, but after the first six months he just continued to become more and more comfortable and confident with us and his forever home.

This past winter he had a major health scare as a tumor on his spleen ruptured, which resulted in him having emergency surgery to remove the tumor and his spleen. We were extremely lucky that the tumor was not cancerous. (The vet had told us there was an 80 to 90% chance of it being cancerous.) Anyhow, he bounced back quickly and is doing great.

ConnorHe loves his daily walks on the beach and dips in the ocean, lots of cuddles, naps, and being silly playing hide and go seek.

Thank you for so much bringing Connor into our lives. We couldn't imagine not having him as part of our family! He brings us so much joy and love every day!

Warmly, Rebecca & Matt O'Dette
