Hi there, what's your name? My name is Hugo. Are you looking for a beagle to join your family? I find myself looking for a new family, and I happen to be a beagle! It must be fate!
I already know some things that will sweeten the deal if you adopt me. For instance, I am already house trained. I also know the following commands: sit, down, stay, come, and spin. I bet you never imagined I was so smart. But brains certainly aren't the only thing humans appreciate. Let me tell you a little about myself.
I absolutely love humans - so much so that I will sit on them and just lick and lick and lick their faces. I also can't get enough of snuggling, especially when my foster parents lift up the blankets so I can get underneath. Ahhh, now that's better. This is so cozy. Another thing: belly rubs are something you can only get from people, and boy do I enjoy my belly rubs. I confess that I love belly rubs so much I will accept them from anyone. No "stranger danger" when it comes to that kind of pleasure.
I'm generally a pretty quiet guy when we go for a ride in the car. I usually just move around the back seat to look out the windows. But there's one place that gets me so excited that I can't contain myself - the drive through! Can you smell all that food? It's surrounding us. I need a Pup Cup!
In general, I'm a pretty cool guy who spends his days relaxing on the couch, going for walks, playing with my toys, and going for car rides. I also like to roll in the grass - it feels so good! I do have a minor habit of destroying/eating inappropriate items, but my sweet nature and adorable underbite more than makes up for it.
At least one member of my new family will need to be home most of the time, or at least be prepared to take me along wherever they go. I really don't like to be alone. I find it very upsetting if I don't have a human available. If you are looking for the sweetest beagle to join your family, and there is at least one family member with whom I can spend all day, I hope you will consider me for the position!
