We love to hear from stories from our adopters! Each one of these beagles touches our lives in a special way - hearing the "Happy Tails" makes everything we do worthwhile! Below are just a few examples of some of our happy beagle tails!
Read all of the Happy Tails by paging through them below (stories are listed from newest to oldest) or click on a name to go to a specific article.
Do you have your own Happy Tail story about adopting a B.O.N.E.S. beagle that you'd like to share? Please send it, along with any pictures, to happytails@bonesbeagles.org.
Grady has been with me 7 months. He is doing wonderfully. It's a joy to be his mom.
It took him a few days to warm up to me and to get used the sounds in the house and neighborhood. That earned him the nickname "Fraidy Grady". Now, Grady likes to walk around the neighborhood and meet other dogs. He is very gentle with small children and loves to play with the neighborhood dogs at our weekly playdates. He also goes to doggy daycare once a week. His foster mom had told me that Grady is good riding in the car, but he has to be picked up to get in. Not now. He jumps right in; especially when he sees the bag I bring with him to daycare. He loves walking around the nearby park. He absolutely adores his Uncle Ralph (my boyfriend). I admit, I'm a little jealous of their relationship. But then, they only see each other 3 or 4 days a week so I guess I can take it. Grady is definitely all boy and appreciates his male bonding time with Ralph.
Attached is a picture of Grady and me. There's also a picture of Grady doing one of the things beagles love best — following his nose. If you want to see another photo of Grady, just take a look at the May picture of the B.O.N.E.S. 2013 calendar. My big handsome boy is a calendar boy!
Thank you so much for letting me adopt Grady. Grady is grrrrrrreat!!!
