Sadie is doing just fine!!! She is an essential part of our family and we are all so happy we decided to adopt her! In the beginning, it was my children's idea and desire to get a dog for them. My wife had grown up with dogs and she was all for it, but having not been raised with any pets other than fish, I wasn't too sure I wanted the responsibility etc. that comes with owning a dog.
Well after many family discussions, I started our search for the right beagle for our family.
When we found Sadie, I knew she was the dog for us! Sadie has brought so much joy into our home, the children (age 14 & 10) love her, our daughter Karissa who was the main person who wanted the dog, is Sadie's best friend. Sadie sleeps with Karissa and does everything with Karissa. Our Son Ricky loves to play with Sadie and helps care for her, he likes to brush her coat and help Karissa give Sadie an occasional bath too. As for myself & my wife Margaret, we enjoy taking Sadie for her daily walks (yes walks, she gets a least 2 a day and more during the spring & summer).
Sadie has become my exercise partner. We go for walks, she watches over me as I lift weights and do my exercise routines, and she even gets into the Wii fit program my wife does!
Sadie is very happy with us; she has many neighbor dog pals she likes to play with while we are on our walks and she enjoys racing back & forth in our yard with our next door neighbor's dog Daemon who we call her "boyfriend". Simply said, Sadie completes our family!!
