Merlin wanted us to drop you a e-mail and tell you that everything is working out just great! He seems to really enjoy his new servants and his new castle not to mention he has an older dog around for when he feels the urge to drive her crazy chasing her and running away from her! Dusty is trying to figure out if this new buddy was a good thing or what!
Merlin is doing great in his training and has not had an accident in the house at all! He seems to love to learn and the treats that come with learning. He is always up for an episode of Law and Order at 7:00 PM each night and will sometimes give you a sliver of the couch to watch it with him if your quiet because he may dose off for a bit. He really enjoyed the Super Bowl or the treats that came with it, not sure which though.
He went to the Vets last week for a wellness checkup and really made quite an impression there, the girls there gave him more treats than we have given him since we adopted him! Dr. B thinks he's a great little catch and informed us that we have a keeper! He has given Merlin a clean bill of health.
Two weeks ago we had a little snow storm down here in Southeastern Mass. and when Merlin went outside, by the look on his face, I think his thoughts were, these people should have adopted a Husky! We shoveled paths around the yard so he could do his business and you could not see him because the snow was so deep. I do think that he now enjoys the snow judging by how he runs so crazy in it.
Well, that's about it, we would like to thank B.O.N.E.S. and all the staff for all they do and for making the adoption of one very good Beagle a simple matter! The staff at B.O.N.E.S. is tops in our book and please continue to give Beagles the love and life they so deserve!
