My name is Ashley, and I'm a beagle looking for a family of my very own. Could you be the family I am searching for? Maybe there's someone in your home that is around more often than not. That would be awesome for me since I really dislike being alone. Sometimes it even makes me cry to be by myself. I am very sociable, after all. Being with someone is just in my nature. I bet someone who is retired would just love to have me around for company.

I get along with just about everyone. I am great friends with my foster brother, and I enjoy when children give me attention. I absolutely adore my foster parents. I get to sleep in bed with them, which is the best thing ever. I also crave kisses on my head and will let you kiss me until you are puckered out! As a matter of fact, the first thing I do every morning when I wake up is crawl my way to the head of the bed to get some kisses from my humans. Then I roll on my back for belly rubs. I never miss this morning routine... it's tremendous!

I guess I should let you know that I am house trained and know the commands "sit," "stay," and "come." I also walk very nicely on my leash, so our strolls together will be stress-free and enjoyable. Taking rides in the car is pretty nice, too. I just sit and watch the scenery. My foster mom is always sure to put my seatbelt on my harness to keep me safe. It would be perfect if my new home has a physically fenced yard because I just love to run and chase critters... what fun!

I spend some of the day playing with my foster brother and some of the day taking walks, but the majority of the day I spend chilling with my foster mom in her office. I like to just relax... it suits me well. Of course, there is always a little part of me that remains aware. You can bet that if anyone drops food on the floor, I will have begun to digest it before you can bend to pick it up. When it comes to food, I can be a smoking fast beagle. I'm just trying to keep the floor clean for you.

I will tell you that I don't like loud noises and will definitely run away when something startles me. Thunder is so frightening. I prefer quiet. Such loud noises really stress me out. Guess my ideal home will be fairly quiet with a stay-at-home dog parent who gives tons of kisses. I am getting so excited just thinking about it! Sure hope my furever family will come to get me soon!
