Beagles of New England States is a 501(c) corporation, established in Massachusetts. Our mission is to rescue, rehome, spay/neuter and provide necessary medical care to beagles in need in the New England Area. As with so many other worthwhile charities, we can only do this with your contributions. There is no government funding, long term endowments, no help but you! We were established in June of 2003 and your donations have kept us going and we hope will continue to keep us going and growing for the future.

The average cost of care for our beagles is over $200 per beagle. In the past year, spay.neuter surgeries have gone up, regular shots have gone up, food costs have gone up. As you know from your own life and supporting your own pets, the expense just keeps on getting highter. If we have an emergency such as a more drastic surgery or require behavior assessment, it takes a lot our of our fund.

BONES is an entirely voluntary organization - there is no paid staff. Everything you donate goes to help the beagles - either directly to medical care or to raising more funds. Again, everyone is a volunteer. There is no mileage paid for beagle transports, no reimbursement for food to our foster homes.
