"It's tough to stay married. My wife kisses the dog on the lips, yet she won't drink from my glass."

REN

3 year old male
good with dogs, cats and children over 4

Meet Ren, a wonderful, sweet, active young beagle boy who really wants to find his forever family. Ren is a very special beagle boy who came to BONES needing training and support in many areas.

Ren's foster mom has worked very hard to help him move toward becoming a good beagle citizen. He is no longer afraid of his crate, and even goes in willingly when the door is open, and no longer barks while in his crate. He loves other dogs and enjoys piling into his crate with his buddies.

Ren just wants to be loved and has worked very hard with his foster home on his manners, barking and housetraining. All of these areas have significantly improved with consistency. Ren's new family should have beagle experience.

He is a goofy boy who loves to go for runs and walks with his human foster 'brother'. With the help of a no-pull harness, he's a joy to take for walks.

Please help Ren find his forever home!

Thanks

DOLBY

Adopted!

5 month old male beagle/hound mix,
good with dogs, cats and children o
ver 4

We couldn't say no to this adorable beagle mix pup when the shelter called us about him.  His happy, eager face, constantly wagging tail and loving nature had us convinced!  Dolby is a beagle mix pup - he will be larger than a beagle as an adult (weighs 23 at 5months) - but has all the wonderful qualities of his beagle ancestors.

Dolby is social, outgoing and not afraid of new things and new situations.  He adores attention, loves to play and is eager to learn.  On his way to being house trained, this guy is a quick study!  With a little consistancy and a watchful eye - Dolby will be a GREAT companion for any active home.

FINNEGAN

1-2 yeat old male
good with dogs, cats and children over
6

If you have room in your heart for the love of a cute and loving beagle then Finnegan is the one for you. He comes to B.O.N.E.S. with a rough past. He was found as a stray by a very caring animal control officer who could tell right from the beginning that there was truly something very special about this little guy.  It was obvious from the start that Finnegan had been traumatized and was afraid of everything and everyone. However he is doing so much better now.  He loves to play with is foster brothers and sister beagles and once he warms up to people, he loves to lay with his head in their lap and sleep.

Finn came to us with a condition called cherry eye (aversion of the third, or inner, eyelid) but it has been surgically repaired and the vet has said it is healing very nicely.

Finnegan would be a wonderful addition to any family. His forever home needs to understand that even though he is making huge steps forward that he will need continued support to help overcome his fears.

If Finnegan could talk to us I'm sure he would say that his ideal forever home would have another dog for him to play with. He really seems to come out of his shell and is more confident when around other dogs.

Would you give Finn a chance?

MEDICAL UPDATE: Finn needed surgery on both of his eyes for his "cherry eye" (everision of his third eyelid) as well as full vaccination panel and neutering.  BONES would love to find a few sponsors to help defray these costs, can you help?

Thanks

Ann and John Genova
