Hello! My name is Milo! I am a sweet, affectionate four-year-old beagle mix and am looking for a wonderful forever home. Could that be you?

I am male, neutered and up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines. I have had some challenges in my short life, but I don't let that get me down. I am still very curious about, and like to engage with, my environment (sometimes this means I chew blankets if I get bored).

I was surrendered to an animal shelter with chemical burns on my skin. It is suspected that someone put an unknown chemical on me intentionally. Don't be alarmed, they don't hurt any more and they make me unique! Once my wounds were healed, a nice family adopted me from the shelter and everything was great! Then all of a sudden I became sick. It was discovered that I have diabetes. My adoptive owners couldn't afford insulin and necessary blood glucose tests to get my health back on track so they had to sadly give me up.

The really nice people at Broadway Veterinary took me in and worked with me so that my diabetes is now in check. I've even lost eight pounds! I'm looking pretty svelte, if I say so myself!

I am looking for a loving forever home, with someone able and willing to take on me and my medical needs. In turn, I will be be a loyal buddy giving lots of hugs and kisses. If you think you could be that person, please contact my friend Alan at Bangor Humane Society. The phone number is 207-942-8902.
